III International Beef Congress
The III International Beef Congress will be held on May 21st in Salamanca and is presented as an essential event for all professionals in the meat sector. Organized by the DemIA International Chair (University of Salamanca), the 19 de Abril Association, and Dehesa Grande, the Congress will bring together experts, institutions, scientists, ranchers, companies, and communicators in a day designed to debate, learn, and anticipate the future of beef.
From the outset, the atmosphere will be one of idea exchange and future vision. The inauguration will give way to presentations and round tables where key topics such as innovation, young talent, the connection between university and business, or the impact of the Mercosur agreement on the international market will be addressed.
One of the most powerful focuses of the gathering will be the analysis of the present and future of the sector from different perspectives: academic, technological, and productive. Here, real answers will be sought to a central question: how to make beef more competitive, sustainable, and attractive in a transforming global environment.
Later, the congress will open a particularly relevant space dedicated to the relationship between beef, health, and the consumer. Science, nutrition, gastronomy, and communication will intersect in a debate designed to understand what society expects today and how the sector should respond.
In the afternoon, the day will add a more informative and engaging perspective, with interventions that combine knowledge and communication, in addition to a block dedicated to the management of emerging diseases, one of the current major challenges for animal health and industry.
The closing will arrive at 6:00 PM with the presentation of an award for a lifetime achievement by Vicente del Bosque, putting the final touch on the event.
