Wander in Dreams. Harp and Flute Duo

Wander in Dreams is a harp and flute concert symbolizing a spiritual journey that fuses Western classical tradition with Eastern poetry, a fusion of cultures in a sonic transit uniting the real and the dreamlike.

The concert will showcase to the Salamanca audience the artistic talent and sensitivity of two young Chinese performers: Xiang Yi (flute), first prize winner of the National Flute Association's (USA) Young Artists Competition, co-principal flutist of the China National Grand Theatre Orchestra, who has performed on prestigious international stages such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, and Xu Yanan (harp), Master's in Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music (United Kingdom), founder and artistic director of the Handengshu Art Center and second prize winner in the Hong Kong International Harp Competition.
