Upon arriving at an airport, Elena picks up the suitcase of a stranger who, in turn, has taken hers. Ever since tragedy swept away her world forever, she wants to be someone else. Thus, as she gives herself over to dance and sex and rediscovers her profession as an illustrator, she draws the lines of a destiny she won't fully decipher until the end.
The Lives of Elena is a love story that explores the transformative power of desire and the complexity of female friendships. Lombó Teatro's adaptation is freely based on María Fasce's novel, published in Spain and Mexico in 2026 by Almadía, and in Argentina in 2023 by Edhasa.
Comp. Lombó Teatro. Adaptation for theater and direction: Martín Piola. Performers: Guillermina Granados, María González-Tablas Pimenta, Isabel Rodríguez Colorado and Pablo Pascual Martínez.
