Over the course of a single summer day, the Tyrone family confronts its own ghosts in a seaside house. James Tyrone, patriarch and veteran actor, struggles with his fear of poverty, while his wife, Mary, sinks into a consuming addiction. Their sons, Jaimie, the spendthrift, and Edmund, melancholic and ill, navigate between love and resentment in a family marked by guilt, reproach, and broken dreams.

Long Day's Journey into Night is a classic of contemporary theater that has been performed, since its premiere at the Royal Dramatic Theatre of Sweden in 1956, on Broadway, where it won a Tony Award for Best Play and a Pulitzer Prize for Drama; it has also premiered in London's West End at the Old Vic Theatre and, more recently, in 2018, at the Wyndham's Theatre, starring Jeremy Irons. An autobiographical work where Eugene O'Neill dissects with rawness and compassion the wounds of his own family.

Author: Eugene O'Neill. Director: Ernesto Caballero. Cast: Carlos Hipólito, Mapi Sagaseta, Álex Villazán and Nicolás Illoro.
