Metalenco is a show by José Luis Encinas, which seeks beauty before technicality, but does not lose sight of the character and formal parameters of flamenco. Classical music creates a type of performers, audience, concert spaces, and way of understanding life: flamenco creates another world, other performers, and another way of understanding life. And the same happens with rock. The show aims to fuse elements as disparate as Deep Purple, Pepe Habichuela playing soleares, or Manuel Barrueco performing Domenico Scarlatti. Metalenco is not a technical exercise. It is a feeling. It is emotional blending.
