Francisco de Vitoria unpacks his lesson as usual. The students attentively follow the friar's exposition, retaining each of the concepts explained. Meanwhile, Catalina appears on the street, visibly worried by a notification she has received written in Latin. For this reason, she travels from her village to the capital in search of her friend Jimena who, after a few years living in Salamanca, might be able to help her with the translation.
Catalina presents the case to her friend Jimena, but Jimena tells her that she doesn't master the language either. However, a solution occurs to her: visit Francisco de Vitoria in his classroom. The two women head there, hoping that Catalina can finally abandon that restless state that grips her...
